So much for Quality and Reliability - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara
By HJ - June 21 - 4:46 amI am completely dissatisfied with this vehicle! My wife and daughter drive 140 miles round-trip every day. I bought a Toyota because I thought it was a high-quality, safe, and reliable vehicle. I have had many many problems with this vehicle. While most of the problems do not affect the safety and reliability of the vehicle, one problem most certainly does intermittently the car will not start completely dead no clicks no nothing. I have to jump the vehicle to get it started. I have had the car in for service several times and they keep telling me they cannot find anything wrong. I guess its a figment of my imagination.

Great Alternative to the 4-door Blahs - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara
By Hern - May 21 - 10:00 amCouldnt make up my mind over the usual 4-door *yawn* options: Altima/Mazda6/Camry/Galant/Taurus/Accord . Solara is more Lexus than Toyota (just compare the int. & ext bits to the ES300). Quiet, quick ,and gas mileage close to 40 during 70-mile daily commute in Dallas traffic, and not weary afterwards. Lots of rear seat room for the 2 kids, and they can get out by themselves just fine. Lots of safety features standard. Likes to run, gets its legs at 70 mph and just wants to go faster.

TOO MANY CAMRYS - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara
By Elxtra - April 25 - 10:00 amJust got tired of seeing Camrys. I purchased my 2004 Solara SLE 9-1-03. I am very pleased with the car, it is quiet and smooth. Turns corners tight. Plenty of room and driver seat adjust nicely. Center console is large and two- tiered. Interior is sweet. All the fancy stuff. I know 3 days is not enough time to provide a in-depth review, Ill be back......

GREAT CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara
By Daniel L - April 13 - 2:00 amI just bought my Solara and I love it! It is a fun car to drive for the price. I was amazed at the quality of the vehicle. I have owned many Toyotas and this is the most well made car for the price!

Solara: Toyota or Lexus? - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara
By J. L. Mackey - April 13 - 2:00 amThis automobile has been outstanding since the first day. My wife and I have owned eight or so Toyotas and they have all been very reliable and of high quality. This one however, exceeds all previous autos. It,s a hoot to drive, has power to spare and looks like a design for the future (not some outdated style from the last ten years). Great value for the money. Go test drive one!

Lovin It - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara
By happy go lucky - March 1 - 2:00 amI could not be happier with my new Solara. The drive is incredibly smooth and quiet. The interior is fancy looking. The exterior is fancy as well.I had to choose between this and the Honda Accord and I chose the Solara because it drove so much better.

Love it! - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara
By Leslie - February 10 - 7:33 amI have had this car for 4+ years and would highly recommend it. Im getting ready to sell mine as I am having a baby and need to upgrade to something with 4 doors, otherwise I would keep it another 4 years or more. The only problem I have had with the vehicle was the Toyo tires that came with the car. I had to replace them at 28,000 miles (which is a terrible life span!). Now that I have some new Michelin energy tires on it, it drives like a dream.

NICE CONVERTIBLE! - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara
By CONVERTIBLE MAN - December 22 - 8:43 amThe lower-end priced "family" convertible market (adequate back seat) is limited to a select few: the two usual suspects are the Chrysler Sebring and Volvo C70. When you drive each, you wonder how the front end stays put when you run over anything but a newly-paved road. The Volvo is the "prettiest" convertible out there. But that ride is so disappointing. Which brings us to the Toyota Camry Solara. I dont know why they include "Camry" in the name, since you wont find it anywhere on the car. Its comfy, roomy, zippy, gets decent gas mileage, and VERY quiet with the top up. It has some body quiver, which results from it being a sedan with the top cut off, after-market.
